Starting fresh in 2026, AI coding is the default. The reasoning is simple: the entry barrier has dropped to no-code levels (30 minutes to a first result), while the ceiling is far higher and you own the output. No-code remains the best answer in one clear zone: quick internal tools.
There's a hybrid: validate fast with no-code, then rebuild with AI coding once the idea proves out. But since even a validation landing page now takes a day with AI, that hybrid's advantage is shrinking.
